SIMULATE YOUR CEILING CLEARANCE IN 3D
Rotate in 360° and test real-time lifting heights before purchasing. Adjust your garage ceiling height and vehicle type to calculate exact overhead clearance and avoid door track collisions.
True Metric Engineering
Every LiftAxis model is engineered to strict structural standards. Our CAD-designed baseplates and high-strength steel columns ensure zero deflection even under maximum load. We don't just lift vehicles; we secure them with uncompromising rigidity.
Redundant Auto-Lock Systems
Mechanical safety locks engage automatically at multiple heights. Combined with high-pressure hydraulic flow restrictors and parachute valves, the lift will not drop even in the event of total catastrophic hydraulic failure.
Industrial Powder Coat
We don't use standard paint. Every component undergoes a multistage wash before receiving a baked-on, highly durable powder coat finish that resists hydraulic fluid, oil, and aggressive workshop chemicals.

Engineered Heavy Freight Delivery
Automotive lifts weigh 1,000 to 3,500+ lbs. Here is our exact, transparent protocol for getting heavy machinery into your shop.
Reinforced Steel-Banded Crating
Every lift is secured onto heavy-duty timbers with high-tensile steel strapping and heavy weatherproof shrink-wrap to eliminate in-transit transit friction.
Dedicated Commercial LTL Carriers
We partner with premier freight carriers (Estes Express, R+L Carriers, Old Dominion) equipped for heavy industrial equipment with live online tracking.
Advance Appointment & Notification
The carrier calls you 24–48 hours prior to arrange your delivery window. Choose free regional terminal pickup (forklift loaded) or residential curbside delivery.
48-Hour Damage-Free Guarantee
Simply note any outer packaging tears on the delivery receipt upon arrival. LiftAxis guarantees 100% free expedited replacement parts or a new unit.
Frequently Asked Technical Questions
Real answers to the most common engineering, concrete, and freight delivery inquiries.
1. How thick does my garage concrete slab need to be for a two-post lift?
For standard two-post lifts rated between 7,000 and 10,000 lbs (such as our Pro-10X and Apex-9BP), your concrete floor must be a minimum of 4.0 inches (102 mm) thick with a compressive strength of at least 3,000 PSI, cured for a minimum of 28 days. Heavy commercial lifts (12k to 15k lbs) require a 6.0-inch slab at 3,500 PSI. Anchor bolts must maintain at least 6 inches of clearance from any saw-cut expansion seams.
2. Can I install a four-post parking lift without bolting it to the concrete?
Yes. Our residential four-post storage lifts (such as the Park-8S and Park-8XLT) are free-standing engineered structures. Their wide baseplate footprints and cross-tied runways provide complete stability under loaded vehicles without anchor bolts. We include our heavy-duty polyurethane caster kit so you can even roll the unloaded lift around your garage.
3. What ceiling height do I need to stack two cars in my garage?
Use our universal garage clearance equation: Total Ceiling Height = Height of Lower Car + Height of Upper Car + Lift Runway Thickness (4.5") + 4" Safety Cushion. For two standard sports cars or sedans (52" to 56" tall), a ceiling height of 10 feet (120") is sufficient. For parking an SUV under a sedan, we recommend our Park-8XLT with at least an 11-foot (132") ceiling.
4. Can I run my automotive lift on standard 110V household electrical power?
Yes, for select models. All LiftAxis residential four-post storage lifts (Park-8S, Park-8XLT, Stacker-7C) and our portable systems (Port-5000, MidRise-6XP, Mobile-6K) feature 110V electric-hydraulic power units that plug directly into any standard 15A/20A household outlet. Two-post overhead commercial lifts require a dedicated 220V single-phase 30A circuit for high-speed operation.
5. How does heavy freight delivery work if I don't have a forklift?
We provide two convenient delivery pathways: (1) Free Terminal Delivery: We ship to your nearest freight terminal where the dock crew loads the crate onto your trailer or truck bed with their forklift. (2) Residential Curbside Delivery: We dispatch a carrier with a hydraulic liftgate to lower the crate to ground level at your curb. Detailed appointment phone calls are included with every shipment.
6. What is the difference between ALI Certified and non-certified lifts?
The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) conducts rigorous third-party testing (ANSI/ALI ALCTV standard) verifying structural load ratings, electrical safety, and hydraulic velocity fuses. Commercial dealerships and municipal fleet shops typically require ALI Gold Label certification for OSHA and liability compliance. For private hobbyists, non-ALI models offer the exact same heavy steel engineering at significant savings without third-party institutional testing fees.
